1. The importance of the membrane in electrolysis
In order to separate the specific components created by the decomposition (electrical decomposition is a process that creates “waste”) and use it to create the hydrogen molecule, a very unique membrane is needed (PEM – Proton Exchange Membrane) whose function is to allow only the passage of the specific components, and block the rest of the “waste”
(for example, chlorine, which would almost always be formed from water with minerals).
Pay attention!
The highest quality membrane available on the market is the Nupore type, and although the labels of quite a few bottles indicate that they use/contain this membrane, the price of most bottles is lower than the price of the membrane itself. Random tests have shown that 7 out of 10 types of bottles that declare they produce hydrogen water. do not produce hydrogen at all.
2. The importance of electrodes’ materials
Since the decomposition of water containing minerals often also produces metallic substances (in a chemical process that we know as corrosion), and ozone gas (which is toxic) – so to prevent these by-products, Lumivitae does several things:
A. Dissolution at the lowest possible electrical voltage (1.8 volts)
B. Uses electrodes made of platinum-titanium and which in addition are coated with a special material that prevents the formation of metallic substances
